Rachel was invited to speak at Bristol Cycling Campaign's February meeting. About 30 people attended and there was a lively debate covering everything from fashion and child cycling to infrastructure and inequalities in cycling take-up.

Rachel was also an invited speaker at the TfL Pan London Behaviour Change meeting in January 2012.

Rachel will be presenting two papers; one sole authored paper looking at cycling advocacy in London, and one co-authored paper (with James Woodcock, CEDAR) looking at the construction of gendered risk in relation to transport.
